Late Mr.Thomas’s curiosity and love of traveling took him to various countries, he brought back a treasure trove of knowledge and ideas, one of his pioneering effort was to establish distillery and bottling unit in the state of Kerala

The Devicolam Distilleries Ltd (DDL) is one of the oldest distilleries of Kerala established in 1938. Acquired and promoted by Late .P.A. Thomas Wilfred in the year 2003, it is one of the leading producer of Indian Made Foreign Liquor in the State. DDL currently produces and supply high-quality liquor (Indian Made Foreign liquor) brands in the category of Rum, Brandy, whisky and Vodka.

Apart from producing IMFL for Kerala state, they export to Africa and Middle East (UAE & OMAN). DDL also manufactures on contract basis for Allied Blenders and Distillers Pvt. Ltd. (ABD), M.G.Muthu (MGM), Saraya Industries and Hermes Distillery. DDL also supplies to CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force), CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) and BSF (Border Security Force).

Situated in the Kakkanad area adjacent to KINFRA IT Park, DDL’s production plan and storage units are housed in 6.5 acres of land. Within the first two years of its acquisition, the company had benchmarked the international standards by receiving ISO 9001-2000 quality management certification. Today with a total installed capacity of 4860000 cases per year, supply to the market is seamless and fully integrated.
